Trump-Backed Crypto Platform World Liberty Financial Seeks User Registrations and Web3 Wallet Connections

World Liberty Financial, a crypto and decentralized finance (DeFi) platform reportedly backed by former President Donald Trump, has launched a campaign to attract user registrations and Web3 wallet connections. The platform is currently inviting “accredited investors in the U.S. and all non-U.S. persons” to join its whitelist.

Although the platform aims to accommodate users from both the U.S. and abroad, it stated that efforts are underway to include all Americans in its offerings. Launched in September by Trump and his sons alongside other entrepreneurs, World Liberty Financial is utilizing Web3 wallets for Know Your Customer (KYC) verification purposes.

However, the platform has faced challenges, including accounts on X impersonating it in attempts to scam users. Notably, Trump has shifted his stance on cryptocurrency; after previously expressing skepticism, he briefly boosted crypto stocks in July.

In March, Bitcoin reached a new all-time high, surpassing $73,000, reflecting the growing interest in the cryptocurrency market.
