Seven Indian Startups Chosen for AWS Global Generative AI Accelerator Programme
Amazon Web Services (AWS) has announced that seven innovative generative AI startups from India have been selected for its prestigious Global Generative Artificial Intelligence Accelerator Programme. The chosen startups—Convrse, Neural Garage, House of Models, Orbo.ai, Unscript AI, Zocket, and Phot.ai—are part of a global cohort of 80 companies recognized for their cutting-edge use of AI technology.
India leads the Asia-Pacific and Japan region in the number of startups selected for this global initiative. The participating companies represent a diverse range of industries, including IT (Convrse, House of Models, Zocket), media and entertainment (Neural Garage), retail (Orbo.ai), and marketing and advertising (Phot.ai, Unscript AI).
The AWS Generative AI Accelerator Programme, which is a key component of AWS’s $230 million commitment to advancing AI innovation, provides early-stage companies with AWS credits, mentorship, and educational resources. The selected startups will benefit from AWS's compute, storage, and database technologies, as well as specialized hardware such as AWS Trainium and AWS Inferentia 2. Additionally, they will have access to Amazon SageMaker, a cloud-based machine learning platform for developing and training AI models.
Over the course of the 10-week programme, participants will be matched with both business and technical mentors suited to their specific industry needs. Each startup can receive up to $1 million in AWS credits to support the development, testing, and launch of their generative AI solutions. They will also engage in technology and technical sessions with program partner NVIDIA.
The selected startups will showcase their solutions at AWS’s premier annual event in Las Vegas, providing them with a global platform to present their innovations.
