TADA Partners with TON Foundation to Launch Ride-Booking Mini App on Telegram, Enabling Payments in Toncoin and USDT
Southeast Asia’s ride-hailing platform TADA has teamed up with the TON Foundation to introduce a groundbreaking Telegram mini app, dubbed TADA Mini, that allows users to book rides directly within the messaging platform. The collaboration marks a significant step toward integrating blockchain technology with everyday services, as TADA Mini enables payments in Toncoin (TON) or USDT via the TON blockchain.
This innovation allows web3 users to seamlessly book rides without the need for additional app downloads or sign-ups. Users can complete their transactions in cryptocurrencies, making it a convenient option for those already familiar with decentralized finance. According to the announcement, TADA Mini aims to simplify the ride-hailing process while embracing the future of digital payments through blockchain technology.
Harvey Kim, Head of Korea at the TON Foundation, emphasized the importance of this collaboration, stating, "If we want to accelerate the successful adoption of web3 solutions, it’s crucial to forge strong partnerships with popular web2 platforms that can help users quickly familiarize themselves with the benefits of web3. This partnership is a key milestone as we continue to expand TON blockchain’s presence across Southeast Asia."
To celebrate the launch, TADA and the TON Foundation are offering 4,000 complimentary rides during the TOKEN2049 crypto conference in Singapore, which will take place from September 14 to 18. This initiative will allow attendees to experience the convenience of booking and paying for rides using digital assets.
James Yang, Chief Innovation Officer at MVL, the parent company of TADA, highlighted the company's focus on innovation, saying, "At TADA, we’ve always prioritized innovations that benefit both riders and drivers. TADA Mini not only simplifies ride-hailing but also prepares for the future by enabling the use of digital assets in real-world applications. Looking ahead, we plan to expand this service into new regions, aiming to offer it to a broader audience."
TADA, founded in 2018, currently operates in Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and Cambodia, with plans to expand into Hong Kong by the end of this year. The introduction of TADA Mini reflects the platform’s ongoing commitment to leveraging cutting-edge technologies to enhance user experiences and stay ahead in the competitive ride-hailing market.
As the adoption of web3 solutions grows, TADA's integration of blockchain payments through its Telegram mini app positions the platform as a trailblazer in combining decentralized finance with real-world services.
