Bajaj Housing Finance IPO Sees Over ₹3 Lakh Crore in Bids, Subscribed 66 Times
As of 4 PM today, Bajaj Housing Finance's initial public offering (IPO) has attracted a staggering ₹3 lakh crore in bids, significantly oversubscribing the issue 66 times. The company aimed to raise ₹6,560 crore through the IPO, with ₹1,758 crore already secured from anchor investors. This brings the effective IPO size down to ₹4,802 crore for the purpose of calculating oversubscription.
Notably, Bajaj Housing Finance's IPO has outpaced the bid amounts received by Tata Technologies in its November offering. Tata Technologies' IPO, which was the first Tata Group IPO in two decades, garnered bids totaling ₹1.56 lakh crore.
The final day of subscription for Bajaj Housing Finance's IPO also sees the price band set between ₹66 and ₹70 per share. Despite its impressive performance, Bajaj Housing Finance's IPO is not the most subscribed in history, as subscription figures can vary from the total value of the bids received.
