Kamala Harris Leads Donald Trump in Six Key Swing States According to New Poll

Democratic nominee Kamala Harris is leading Donald Trump in six critical battleground states that may determine the outcome of the 2024 U.S. presidential election, as revealed by a Bloomberg poll conducted between September 19 and 25. The states where Harris holds an advantage include Arizona, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. However, both candidates are tied among voters in Georgia.

The poll reflects a competitive race, with Harris experiencing a boost after President Joe Biden's withdrawal from the race in July. In recent campaign events, Harris has expressed support for the blockchain sector, indicating she would "encourage" innovation in digital assets. During a campaign stop in Pittsburgh, she stated, "We will invest in biomanufacturing and aerospace, remain dominant in AI and quantum computing, blockchain, and other emerging technologies, and expand our lead in clean energy innovation and manufacturing."

Despite Harris's recent outreach to the digital asset industry, some in the crypto community still favor Trump due to his pro-crypto stance. The Biden administration has faced criticism for its regulatory approach to cryptocurrencies, which has been described as regulation by enforcement.

A survey by Fairleigh Dickinson University indicates that non-crypto owners prefer Harris, while cryptocurrency holders lean towards Trump. The former president has reiterated his commitment to enacting crypto-friendly regulations if elected. At the Bitcoin 2024 Conference, Trump stated, "We will have regulations, but the rules will be written by people who love your industry, not hate your industry."

Earlier this month, Trump launched his family's new crypto platform, World Liberty Financial, and warned crypto entrepreneurs about potential regulatory challenges if he loses the election. He cautioned, "If bad things happen and we don’t win the election, those people that were under investigation will be living in hell because it will start the day after the election.
